We decided as a family to have him cremated and remain with us, so we did. We paid good money for this and we got Yoda back in a coffee can, no bag, no nothing. My son Brett started to look at web sites to pick out his urn. Believe me there are hundreds of web sites. Mostly, I called to make sure we were getting what we wanted. I called at least ten sites. I cried through all ten calls and the people were like "just give me your order, it's just a Dog". Well I had a few choice words for them. I wasn't only looking for an urn but a little sympathy of what our family was going through. We passed anangelsdestiny.com web site several times and something just kept telling us call her. Well that was the best call I made. I believe that Essie is our angel and destiny took us to her or Yoda did. I cried at least over an hour on the phone with her, we stopped until I calmed down then placed my order. There were other sights out there a little cheaper than Essie, but I guarantee the customer service would not have been there, and that's what I was looking for someone who showed some understanding, who would listen, care, and just say nice things to comfort me. Essie even took her time out to talk to my 11yr old son and gave him comfort, Mrs. Essie even sent my son Brett, a book about death and poems that gave him great comfort. She even sent our family a sympathy card. She was so concerned for us she called, or e-mailed us with our order status. We ordered a plaque from her and the engraving was not to her satisfaction and she had it sent it back, because it could not be less than perfect. The urn, the k-9 cottage in oak, was beautiful. It needed a bag that we could place the ashes in. Mrs. Essie spoke to the Company and explained our situation to them, they gave us several bags and not only that a beautiful blue velvet bag. I feel like this tragic situation with our dog YODA was horrible, but in the same sense Yoda has given us a great bunch of new caring friends. From the bottom of our hearts Mrs. Essie, we thank you, love you, and would have never made it through this without you. You have the right name for your web sight because you are our angel and destiny surely brought us together. I lost my mother back in June "2001" and the funeral directors never treated us with the same respect as Mrs. Essie did. We spent over $16,000 to bury my Mom, We should have gotten the royal treatment from the funeral parlor, but we didn't, I spent a total of maybe $140.00 with Mrs. Essie, and she gave us the million-dollar treatment and that means a lot to our family. This wonderful lady will do whatever she can to make the transaction a little easier. Mrs. Essie did not ask me to write this, I'm doing it because I want to, and I want people to share the same experience that I did with her company, if death ever strikes in your family. I just want future customers to know that our family was beyond happy and pleased. Losing our 7 yr old Pug that belonged to my 11 yr son was one of the worst things that I would never want to go through again. You can say our dog Yoda died suddenly from cancer that we did not know about until it was too late, all of this within a month.
I ordered 2 beds for my little pups, Miss Jazz on top and Mister Bow on the bottom, they love them but very often will sleep together in one. They are so plush and the little blankets, bottles, and handkerchiefs that come with them are adorable. Thank you so much for making my pups so warm and cozy throughout the winter!!!!
